Citroen unveils 149mph DS3 Racing model

The car has been developed by Citroen Racing, the winning team behind five WRC
Manufacturer’s titles and six Driver’s titles for Sebastien Loeb and
co-driver Daniel Elena.

Extras on DS3 Racing include carbon fibre components such as the rear
diffuser, front bumper, side rubbing strips and wheel arch extensions.

The interior gets similar treatment with carbon fibre on the centre console,
steering wheel and door inserts.

The newcomer is available in two distinctive colour schemes, one with an
Obsidian Black (pearlescent) body and a Sport Orange roof, the other with a
Polar White body with a Carbon Grey roof.

Suspension settings have been modified, special dampers have been fitted,
front and rear tracks widened by 30mm and the ride height has been lowered
by 15mm.

The braking system has been upgraded with four-piston callipers and special
brake discs at the front. Other equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels,
rear parking sensors, digital air-conditioning and an eight-speaker in-car
entertainment system.

The DS3 Racing costs from £23,100, with first deliveries expected to begin
early next year.
